Salescart.Net by ComCity Corporation, Salescart.Net by ComCity Corporation, is a Design-Tool E-commerce shopping cart software. Which really means it is a Plug-in for FrontPageŽ and Dreamweaver.
Feature Set:
SalesCart's key features are auction capabilities, flexibility of having different shipping modes, and single button removal of shipping and payment from the entire checkout system. In addition, Salescart.Net will integrate with any website. During checkout, the sensitive data can be encrypted with SSL prior to transmission. This includes the customer ordering process and processing of orders.
Ease of Use:
This product is more complicated due to the fact you need to know Dreamweaver or FrontPage to make your website. There are no built-in Wizards to design your website.
Ease of Installation:
Salescart.Net is a plug-in program for FrontPage¨ and Dreamweaver¨. In order to design and make changes to SalesCart, one of these editors must be installed on your computer. If you have never used Dreamweaver or FrontPage there is a steep learning curve, and you can't just simply choose a few templates and start building your website like our top three reviewed shopping carts.
Help/Documentation:
Perhaps the most important attribute of good Shopping Cart software is the information and help the application provides. The help is good. They offer Email support and phone support. Also they have FAQs, knowledge-based questions, a resource center, online community, and a wish/feature request.
Summary:
Salescart.Net is a Design-Tool E-commerce. Which really means it is a Plug-in. This is the third plug-in shopping cart on the Top Ten list. If you are looking for a great plug-in then Storefront AE is the way to go. The bottom line is that there are better Plug-in shopping carts available for about the same price.
